Elizabeth Eidson, PT, DPT
Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist
A Georgia native, Elizabeth began her career at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Macon, GA where she worked with patients experiencing a variety of diagnoses, most notably: stroke, spinal cord injury, Guillain Barré, and Parkinson’s disease. After a year in Macon, she was accepted to Shepherd Center’s Neurologic Residency Program in Atlanta, GA. Here she spent over a year working with patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings experiencing spinal cord injury, severe traumatic brain injury, complex concussion syndrome, dizziness, and multiple sclerosis. The mentorship during her residency has shaped her passion and expertise in treating those with complex neurologic disease. After Shepherd Center, Elizabeth returned to Macon, GA to improve the outpatient care of those with these conditions. In June of 2025, Elizabeth and her husband James moved to Knoxville, TN for James’s job. While they have loved their time in Knoxville so far, Elizabeth has identified a gap in care for those with complex neurologic impairments, and thus, founded KnoxNeuroRehab to fill this gap, provide high quality neuro rehab, and focus on patient goals, not minutes, units, or productivity.
